THIS STORY BROUGHT ME TO TEARS

 A married lady was expecting a birthday gift from her husband. For many months she had admired a beautiful diamond ring in a showroom, and knowing her husband could afford it, she told him that was all she wanted. As her birthday approached, this lady awaited signs that her husband had purchased the diamond ring. Finally, on the morning of her birthday, her husband called her into his study. Her husband told her how proud he was to have such a good wife ,and told her how much he loved her. He handed her a beautiful wrapped gift box .Curious, the wife opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Qur’an, with the wife's name embossed in gold.

Angrily, she raised her voice to her husband and said, 'with all your money you give me a Qur'an?’And stormed out of the house, leaving her husband. Many years passed and the lady was very successful in business. She managed to settle for a more beautiful house and a wonderful family, but realized her ex-husband was very old, and thought perhaps she should go to visit him. She had not seen him for many years .But before she could make arrangements she received a telegram telling her that her ex-husband had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to her. She needed to come back immediately and take care of things. When she arrived at her ex-husband's house sudden sadness and regret filled her heart. 

She began to search through her ex-husband's important papers and saw the still new Qur’an just as she had left it years before. With tears she opened the Qur’an and began to turn the pages. As she read the words a tiny package dropped from the back of the Qur’an 'It had a diamond ring, with her name engraved on it-- the same diamond ring which she saw at the showroom. On the tag was the date of her birth, and the words. 'LOVE YOU ALWAYS'. How many times do we miss Allah's blessings, because days are not packaged as we expected?

It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans cannot write a book like this even if they pooled all their resources together and got help also from the spirits. It is the only religious sacred writing which has been in circulation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning. The Qur’an was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it ever since it was completely revealed 1400 years ago.

Unsurpassable:
The Qur’an is Allah (s.w.t)’s final revelation to humankind. Allah (s.w.t) revealed the Torah to Moses, the Pslams to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and finally The most sacred book of all ‘The Holy Qur’an’ to Prophet Muhammad. Peace is upon all of them. No other book will come from Allah (s.w.t) to surpass his final revelation.

Indisputable:
The Qur’an withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. IT mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries confirm that the Qur’an was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to accord with modern knowledge. The Qur’an alone is never contradicted by a modern discovery.

The Qur’an is the best guidebook on how to structure your life. No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all aspects of human life and endeavor. Allah (s.w.t)  has not left you alone. You were made for a reason. Allah (s.w.t) tells you why he made you, what he demands from you, and what he has in store for you. If you operate a machine contrary to its manufacture specification you will ruin that machine. What about you? Do you have an owner's manual for you? The Qur’an is from your function for success lest you fail to function. It is a healing mercy from Allah (s.w.t) . It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart. It removes doubts and brings peace.

Humans are social creatures. We love to communicate with other intelligent life. The Qur’an tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life- the One Allah (s.w.t) . The Qur’an tells us who Allah (s.w.t) is, by what name we should address Allah (s.w.t) , and the way in which to communicate with Allah (s.w.t) .
