A King Who Didn't Have Finger

A king who didn't believe in God had a slave who, in all circumstances said:

"My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes..."

One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the slave managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty losing a finger.

Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said;

"if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger!"

The slave replied:

"Despite all these things,I can only tell you that God is good and everything he does is perfect, He is never wrong!"

Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his slave.

Later, he left for another hunt and was captured by savages who made human sacrifices.

In the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place so he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods...
On his return to the palace, he authorized the release of his slave saying;

"My dear,God was really good to me! I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger I was let go!
But I have a question: if God is so good, why did He allow me put you in jail?"

His reply: "My king, if I had gone with you, I would have been sacrificed for you because I have no missing finger."
Remember, everything God does is perfect, He is never wrong...

Often we complain about life, and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random, and that everything has a purpose.

Don’t let the past freeze you in place, and don’t punish yourself for things you cannot change.

Everything you have experienced: the happy times, loneliness, laughter and tears, all have meaning, and have all gone into making you who you are. If you have any wisdom or insight, it is probably a result of hardship you have experienced in the past.

Everything that you do today has meaning. The caress you give a child, the help you give a stranger, the quiet charity, all matter and make a difference, even when you don’t see it. It’s all worth it. Your love matters, your work matters, your life matters.

Keep your head up, and forge forward fee-sabeel-illah. Accept yourself and be at peace. Look ahead and smile. Stand up straight, and don’t bow your head except in prayer. Keep praying, learning, thinking, following your dreams, and loving the people in your life. You are my brothers, my sisters, my heroes.

[Food for thought] “People will love you for a short time but Allah (swt) will love you forever. People will listen to you sometimes, but Allah will listen to you all the time. People will forgive you sometimes, but Allah (swt) forgives every time. Allah Hu Akbar Kabeera!”

[Take 60 seconds…] and make someone special [parents, wife, siblings, friends, colleagues, a complete stranger] in your life smile today only to attain the love of Allah (swt)!

May Allah (swt) grant us the best in this life and the next. Ameen

Is the Grass Greener on the Other Side?

This is very simple, Allah (swt) created life as a test, and there is no human being that escapes other than being tested. Now a lot of times what happens is, we look at other people’s lives and we think that they’re not being tested. We say “wow, my life is so difficult but this guy’s making $50,000 more than me, he has no problems” Right, this is human nature. Human nature is to look at the other person and always think that the grass is greener on the other side. I will tell you that there is no way that the grass is greener on the other side. First of all I know that having bad enough experience living in this life and having enough people come and tell me their problems… that the millionaire has problems and the person who is at below the poverty level also has their own problems. Now are the problems the same?

No, the millionaire has problems that you would think that ‘how a person with so much wealth ever has problems’ and they have the same number of problems as the person living at the poverty level. It’s just the way Allah (swt) created life, you can’t escape, it’s not that when you earn a certain amount of money, you’ve escaped or that when you have a certain number of friends you’ve escaped or when you have a certain number of square feet in your home you’ve escaped. So Allah (swt) created varying tests and they vary based on the amount that a person’s been given but everybody’s being tested. So it’s the foolish one that looks at another person’s life and says “well if I had that I would do this” that doesn’t make any sense, if you had that you would have your own set of tests and you might fail them miserably or you might succeed, it doesn’t make any difference. Allah (swt) is not going to ask you what He gave you. You won’t be asked “I gave you this or I gave you this, why was it?” No, Allah (swt) gives you whatever He gives you. You will be asked how you used what He gave you.

So if He gave you health you’ll be asked about how you used it. But if you weren’t given health you won’t be asked why you didn’t have health. If you had wealth Allah (swt) will ask how you attained it and how you spent it. But if you don’t have it, Allah (swt) won’t ask you why you didn’t have wealth, that won’t be a question on the Day of Judgment that your salary was $100,000 how come it wasn’t $120,000? Answer up! That’s not going to be a question on the Day of Judgment. So that’s the way Allah (swt) has created life and we should be very clear, we don’t ever need to look at another person and ask why we’re not that person. We’re comfortable with whatever Allah (swt) made us and we should recognize that every single persons in a test. The biggest mistake, in fact the way you fail the test is to complain.

“How come I don’t have this?

How come I don’t have that?

How come my kids are like this?

How come my this is like that?

How come my boss is like this?”

Those are all complaints they don’t get you anywhere. Nobody wins the game by complaining, In fact the Prophet (saw) asked for protection from the complaining tongue. That’s the person who gets deceived, they start blaming the world for their circumstance rather than recognizing that their circumstances are an opportunity for them to convert the mundane into something much more special.

"When a test comes to you"

1.) Know that everything is by Qadr of Allah (swt)
2.) Remember that other people have bigger problems than you
3.) Remember the death of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), the greatest calamity the Ummah faced.
4.) Maybe through this trial, Allah (swt) has saved you from an even bigger trial.
5.) Through this trial Allah (swt) will remove some of your sins.
6.) Through this trial Allah (swt) has opened up a huge world of ibadah like sabr, salah, repentance, etc.
7.) With this trial, Allah (swt) is putting you on the path of the Prophets. It is a confirmation that Allah loves you. The more Allah loves somebody, the more he tests them.
8.) Through this trial perhaps Allah (swt) is looking to give you something better than what you had!"

Don’t Run After The Sweets of This World, Live the Life of Prophet Muhammad (saw)

How Many People, Strive Extremely To Earn This World, To Gather, To Pile Up This World? Day After Day, Night After Night, Week After Week, Year After Year, Their Whole Life Is To Pile and Gather and Then, After They've Gathered What They Want to Gather, DEATH Takes Them and They Enjoy Nothing.

Many Of Those Who Saw The Beginning Of Day Yet, Did Not See The End Of It Many Are Those, Who Expected Morning but Did Not Live To See It, If Only You Had Known Your Appointed Time, You Would Had Detested For Worldly Materials. Brothers and Sisters, What Are We? Who Are We? We Are Nothing but Flesh and Bones, We Are Nothing but Servants, Slaves of the Al-Mighty Lord, Of Allah (swt) The One Who gave Us this Life In Order To Utilize This Life, Not The Way Me or You Want, No!!! We Are Slaves of The One That Gave us This Ability, Who Lent Us This Body That We Are Carrying, In Order To Utilize It, In The Way and Only Way He Is Pleased With.

The Day Will Come When Your Bones Will Be bared Of Its Flesh, There Will Be No More Flesh On It and Your Living Bodies That You Are Carrying Today Will Become A Hand Full Of Bones, Underneath A Pile Of Dirt. This Is Your Reality, The Intelligent Man For This Reflects, Contemplates, Ponders Of His Reality He Knows That His Time Is Passing Away, Every Second That Goes, Is Gone but It Will Be Registered In Your Record, Either For or Against You. Our Time Is Melting Away, Just Like A Block Or Cube Of Ice but The Intelligent Man Knows, And Believes, that His Real Success, His Only Salvation Is To Do All The Acts That Will Remove Him, From The Severe Punishment Of Hellfire and Thus Admit Him Into Eternal Bliss Of Paradise, Isn’t This What We Want? Isn’t This What We Are Striving For? Only Allah (swt) Knows Our Time Dear Brothers and Sisters, Only the Al-Mighty Lord Knows When The Hour Will Come"

Open your Eyes and Plan Your Future According to Qur’an & Sunnah of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) before it’s too late. Follow the Footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (saw) who was Rehmatul-il-alameen For All the Creation of Allah (swt). He Is the Most Blessed Personality And He Is Our Leader, He Is Our Role Model. A Leader Lives His Life In Comfort And Makes Others Work But My Brothers And Sisters Our Leader, The Leader of All Mankind, The Leader of All Creation of Allah (swt) Faced The Most Hardships In His Life, He Was Tortured By Non-Believers The Most, Yet He prayed For Their Forgiveness, Yet He Asked Allah (swt) to Forgive them, Have You Forgotten The People of Taif???, Oh My Allah (swt) Bless Our Nabi (saw), Where Would We Ever Find A Man Like Him? A Personality Like That? Nowhere, Never Ever, He Sacrificed Everything All luxuries For Us, For His Ummat And We Are Answerable for That. We Have to Repay Him And In order to Do So We Need to Follow His Footsteps, Live The Life of Our Prophet Muhammad (saw), to Bring Coolness To His Eyes When We Meet Him in Jannah Insha’Allah ul Aziz. May Allah (swt) Bless Us All And Lead Us To The Straight Path By His Grace And Enable Us to Follow Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw)’s Mubarik Footsteps. Ameen

STORY OF A DONKEY

♦♦♦ Never to Give Up ♦♦♦

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the well needed to be covered up anyway it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and begin to shovel dirt into the well.

At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With every shovel of dirt that fell on his back, the donkey was doing some thing amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up. As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.

Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and totted off!

♥ Moral ♥ : Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick is too not to get bogged down by it. We can get out of the deepest wells by not stopping. And by never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!

7 Reasons to Read The Glorious Quran

The Holy Qur'an

Intimate:
It dares you to disprove it. How? It says that humans cannot write a book like this even if they pooled all their resources together and got help also from the spirits. The Qur’an said this fourteen hundreds years ago and yet no one has been able to disprove it. Billions of books have been written - but not another one like the Qur’an.

Incorruptible:
It is the only religious sacred writing which has been in circulation for such a long time and yet remains as pure as it was in the beginning. The Qur’an was kept intact. Nothing was added to it; nothing was changed in it; and nothing was taken away from it ever since it was completely revealed 1400 years ago.

Unsurpassable:
The Qur’an is Allah (s.w.t)’s final revelation to humankind. Allah (s.w.t) revealed the Torah to Moses, the Pslams to David, the Gospel to Jesus, and finally The most sacred book of all ‘The Holy Qur’an’ to Prophet Muhammad. Peace is upon all of them. No other book will come from Allah (s.w.t) to surpass his final revelation.

Indisputable:
The Qur’an withstands the test of time and scrutiny. No one can dispute the truth of this book. It speaks about past history and turns out right. It speaks about the future in prophecies and it turns out right. IT mentions details of physical phenomena which were not known to people at the time; yet later scientific discoveries confirm that the Qur’an was right all along. Every other book needs to be revised to accord with modern knowledge. The Qur’an alone is never contradicted by a modern discovery.

Your Roadmap for Life and Afterlife:
The Qur’an is the best guidebook on how to structure your life. No other book presents such a comprehensive system involving all aspects of human life and endeavor. The Qur’an also points out the way to secure everlasting happiness in the afterlife. It is your roadmap showing how to get to paradise.

Allah (s.w.t) 's Gift of Guidance:
Allah (s.w.t)  has not left you alone. You were made for a reason. Allah (s.w.t) tells you why he made you, what he demands from you, and what he has in store for you. If you operate a machine contrary to its manufacture specification you will ruin that machine. What about you? Do you have an owner's manual for you? The Qur’an is from your function for success lest you fail to function. It is a healing mercy from Allah (s.w.t) . It satisfies the soul, and cleans the heart. It removes doubts and brings peace.

Your Calling Card to Communicate with Allah (s.w.t) :
Humans are social creatures. We love to communicate with other intelligent life. The Qur’an tells us how to communicate with the source of all intelligence and the source of all life- the One Allah (s.w.t) . The Qur’an tells us who Allah (s.w.t) is, by what name we should address Allah (s.w.t) , and the way in which to communicate with Allah (s.w.t) .
